Another Quick V-day Project

Our Fun Valentines

Celeste and I had a lot of fun making these little Valentine crafts a couple weeks ago. I have been meaning to post the pics for a while, so here they are!

Today I am Tired...

and not just in the physical sense. I love to be happy, I love to count my blessings, and in spite of many recent set backs, I know in my heart they are many. But I am tired today, of the little things in life getting in the way of my grand plans. Like trips to the DMV that suck hours out of my day to accomplish nothing. The weight of this task still sits in the back of my mind, because its not over, there are still hoops to jump through. The result of some new legislation that has turned every innocent like myself into an opportunity to make money for our state through a ridiculous verification process which random citizens are subjected to. And it forces me to ask, "why me, why now?" Can't they see I am so busy and entangled in my own tasks to have to deal with such petty nonsense when I have always strived to do the right thing, timely and efficiently, and now I have to prove it too?! My budget is getting the best of me as well, how frustrating it is to watch these lousy numbers on my lined paper control every aspect of my life...
Tomorrow is a new day, and I think I can sense my happiness returning...XO

Chaos!

Well, it has been nearly five years since I last took a college course, and I was worried how I would handle stepping back in the game. I am so excited to be doing this, but this week has been chaotic. I'm hoping I settle into a routine in the coming weeks. A little time management to help me juggle everything I want to do in my life. I want to try to get to some scrappy goodness this weekend, and Celeste and I have a little Valentine mailbox we want to decorate, so check back to see our lovely creations!-XO

The Weekend

I'm a bit sick this weekend, so I'm feelin' up to a whole lotta nothin'! I took some pictures to play around with my new camera, I love it! I also did a couple of scrapbook pages, the "What I Love About You" is this weeks sketch at sketchinspirations.ning.com. School starts on Monday, so I hope I will have the time to keep up with her weekly sketches over there... otherwise I will stockpile my photos for a huge spring break scrap-a-thon, lol! -XO

A Day Off

It is so nice to have an extra day off once in a while. The problem is, I usually don't know what to do with it! Celeste wants to play with her friend, so we will probably do that. I also have some random errands that have been on the back burner I may do today. Maybe even a little time to check out some vintage shops for some more awesome decor... can't wait to see where my fun day takes me! - XO
